Hi, I’m Debra and I am passionate about helping people restore their health and vitality to the level when they felt their best using holistic nutrition and lifestyle choices.
My professional healing journey began when I graduated from nursing school and began a long career working in intensive care. Initially I worked in a Cardiac Surgical Unit. Within 5 years I transitioned to working exclusively with babies in Neonatal Intensive Care. I loved caring for this patient population, with the tiniest ones being my favorites. I feel my nursing skills and compassionate care were a perfect combination when caring for these most fragile of patients and their families.
After 34 years in NICU, I retired from hospital nursing. I soon discovered that I had a deep yearning to continue helping people heal, though doing so in a holistic way. I began to take seminars and learn about healing with nutrition and supplements. I earned my Applied Clinical Nutrition certification. Not satisfied with only understanding nutrition through the use of supplements, and wanting to use food as my first line of approach to wellness, I enrolled at Bauman College in Berkeley, CA and earned my certification in Holistic Nutrition Consulting.
I am Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition® - a credential which demonstrates that I have achieved the highest level of professional recognition (validating my knowledge and experience) in the holistic nutrition industry. This enables me to serve you with the best, most current research and advanced nutritional science. I am a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP).
Nutrition plays an important role in one’s health. The choices we make with nutrition and our lifestyle can have profound affects on our health, both good and bad, depending on the choice. I invite you to tap in to my resources to attain our goals in nutrition and wellness regardless of where you are on the wellness spectrum. You will be glad you did.
